DICABS started as a conductor manufacturing unit in 1970. In 1995, 25 years later, we established a low-voltage (LV) cables manufacturing unit. Then, we set up a transmission tower plant in 2008, making us India’s one of the largest integrated manufacturers of power transmission equipment and a turnkey services provider (EPC).

Types of Cables: Low-Voltage Cables vs High-Voltage

We use the advanced CCV method, combined with German technology, ensuring world-class power transmission cables.

DICABS’s manufacturing plant is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery from leading global brands like SCHOLZ, TOURISTER, and NOKIA-MAILLEFER, along with top-tier Indian suppliers such as SUPERMAC, among others.

In addition, DICABS developed the first vertical lead extrusion plant in India and achieved the ability to extrude aluminum for cables with a 66 kV and higher rating. Many different businesses, including refineries, cement factories, power plants, engineering firms, and pharmaceutical enterprises, favor DICABS cables.

Low Voltage (LV) Cables

Our LV cables are reliable solutions for applications that require superior electrical performance in challenging conditions. These cables can meet power transmission needs of various industries, including renewable energy, telecommunications, automation, marine, defence, and water utilities.

They are highly resistant to corrosion, heat, and temperature ranges between -40°C to 90°C. Additionally, they offer superior defense against exposure to ozone, oils, and grease.

In accordance with Indian and international standards, our LV cables are produced in the most advanced and contemporary facility for voltage grades up to 1.1 kV. Our product offerings include XLPE/PVC insulation, aluminum/copper conductor, armored/unarmoured, PVC sheathed (FR/FRLS/LSZH) cables that meet IS 1554(1) and IS 7098(1) standards.

High Voltage (HV) Cables

Our high-tension cables, which have voltage grades between 3.3 kV and 33 kV, are extensively utilized in cable ducting, power distribution, and direct or external burying applications in power network systems.

As one of the largest cable manufacturing Indian companies, we manufacture cables using triple-layer extrusion with XLPE insulation, improving the electrical and mechanical performance of the cables.
